Welcome to the official blog of bassist/solo artist/clinician Norm Stockton! Look for a wide variety of all things Norm...including tips, road clips, mini-lessons, and much more...
Thanks, Arne! And congrats for being the first official visitor to the new blog! :^) My apologies for the loose ends; we'll have things sorted out soon.
Glad to have finally discovered your blog! Not sure if you remember me - had the pleasure of meeting you and having a lesson with you at Bass Alone in San Diego 8 or 9 years back! I have since moved home to Singapore and finally purchased my first MTD635 (#885) 5 years ago. It still plays like a dream.
I'm a freelance bassist/solo artist/clinician, based in Southern California but spending lots of time traveling throughout North America, Europe and Japan. I'm humbled and honored that my bass instructional dvd series ("Grooving for Heaven”) and solo cds ("Pondering the Sushi" & "Tea In The Typhoon") have been well received and widely distributed in the United States and abroad. I currently tour and record with worship artist (and former Steve Perry guitarist) Lincoln Brewster.
